What is this product?

Liquid eyeliners are applied directly to the eyelid margin and waterline, with close proximity to the eye and lacrimal drainage system. Daily use exposes the eye to waterproofing agents (often silicones or acrylates), carbon black or organic dyes as colorants, and preservative systems (parabens, phenoxyethanol) to prevent microbial growth in the thin film on the eyelid. Leaching into tears is a primary exposure route. Waterproofing polymers may accumulate with repeated daily use.
