What is this product?

Liquid concealers are applied directly to the under-eye area (thin skin, permeable) to cover blemishes, dark circles, or discoloration. Formulations are often water-based with emulsifiers, silicones for slip, preservative systems (parabens, phenoxyethanol), and organic dyes or iron oxides for color matching. The under-eye area is particularly sensitive and permeable; ingredients absorbed there reach systemic circulation efficiently. Many liquid concealers are fragrance-free due to eye sensitivity, but some contain synthetic fragrance. Long-wearing or waterproof formulations may use acrylate polymers.
